The Imagick::getNumberImages() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to get the number of images in the Imagick object. This function can also be used to count the number of frames in a GIF animation.

Syntax:

int Imagick::getNumberImages( void )

Parameters: This function doesn’t accepts any parameter.

Return Value: This function returns an integer value containing the number of images.

Exceptions: This function throws ImagickException on error.

Below given programs illustrate the Imagick::getNumberImages() function in PHP:

$imagickAnimation = new Imagick(
