The Imagick::getFilename() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to get the filename associated with an image sequence.

Syntax:

string Imagick::getFilename( void )

Parameters: This function does not accept any parameters.

Exceptions: This function throws ImagickException on error.

Return Value: This function returns an string value on success.

Below programs illustrate the Imagick::getFilename() function in PHP:

Program 1:




<?php
  
// Create a new imagick object
$imagick = new Imagick();
  
// Get the Filename
$name = $imagick->getFilename();
  
echo $name;
?>


Output:

It will return an empty string which is the default filename.

Program 2:




<?php
  
// Create a new imagick object
$imagick = new Imagick(
  
// Set the Filename
$imagick->setFilename('myimage.png');
  
// Get the Filename
$name = $imagick->getFilename();
  
echo $name;
?>


Output:

myimage.png
