Orange S.A., formerly France Télécom S.A., is a French multinational telecommunications corporation. It has 256 million customers worldwide and employs 95,000 people in France, and 59,000 elsewhere. The company was founded in 1988 with head office in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The current CEO is Stéphane Richard. The company is a component of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index.

Orange has been the company’s main brand for mobile, landline, internet, and IPTV services since 2006. In India, Orange was founded in 2007 and currently operates as Orange Business Services India (OBS India).

Orange is ranked at #304 on Forb’s Global 2000, and #14 on Forb’s best 25 Telecom companies in 2017.

Recruitment Process:

Orange conducts 4-5 rounds to select freshers as Software Engineers in their organization.

  • Written Round
  • Technical Round 1
  • Technical Round 2
  • Technical Round 3
  • HR Round

Academic Criteria:

  • 60 percent or above in B.Tech, Class X and XII.
  • No backlogs at the time of the interview

Written Round:

The written round has two major sections namely General Aptitude Test and Coding Test.

Technical Rounds:

The students who clear the written round are called for Technical Interviews at their office. To clear this round you should be clear with your basics. You should be prepared with Data structures and Algorithms, OOPs, Computer Networks, and DBMS. You will be expected to write codes in the interview. You will also be asked questions about the projects mentioned in the resume. Students from branches other than CS should prepare for the other two subjects related to their branch. They also ask questions about resumes. You may be asked puzzles in this round.

HR Round:

They ask general HR questions like:

  1. Tell me about Yourself
  2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  3. Questions form resume

Sometimes they conduct HR Interviews before Technical Interviews.
