OLX Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Eligibility: 

CS/IT-related branches
Minimum 65% in Academics(X, XII)
Minimum 6.5 CGPA with no standing arrears

Online Assessment – Codility test (Time Duration – 1:30 hrs)

• Number of Questions asked – 3 
• Number of attempts to submit a problem – 1
• Difficulty level – 1 easy, 1 medium, 1 hard

After the OA round, 38 students were shortlisted for the interviews.

Interview Rounds:

Round 1 – DSA Round – (Time Duration – 1:10 hrs): Questions related to projects Web Dev – 10 minutes. 3 DSA Questions were asked: 

• Binary Search slightly better version of the cake-slicing problem.

• The problem was based on DP LIS. Standard Question.
• The problem was based on the priority queue.

Round 2 – System Design Round + CS Fundamental – (Time Duration – 1:40 hrs): 20 min – Discussion on my ML-related project

System Design (45 min) – At first was asked about the LRU cache explained but then the interviewer told me to do other questions and not the LRU cache. Then he explained the LFU Cache problem and told me to explain the approach and code it at the end(code on a shared doc).

CS fundamental (30 min) – Covered most of the CS fundamentals from SQL(query), DBMS, OOPS, and OS was majorly asked. CN was significantly less asked in this round. The interview ended with me asking the interviewer my questions.

Round 3 – Engineering Manager Round (Time Duration – 35 min):  This round was divided into three parts mainly – DSA, Behavioural Round, Questions from me

• This question was an openly ended question and the interviewer was judging your knowledge and your problem-solving skills.
• The Behavioural Round was light and I was asked about my hobbies and some more questions about personal experiences.
• Then I asked the interviewer three personal questions from my side regarding the role and company-related questions.

Verdict: Out of 38 students, 5 students were selected for the OLX internship+FTE. This whole process is a Remote process on campus.
