OffsetDateTime getYear() method in Java with examples

The getYear() method of OffsetDateTime class in Java is used to get the value of the year field.

Syntax :

public int getYear()

Parameter : This method does not accepts any parameter.

Return Value: It returns the year, from MIN_YEAR to MAX_YEAR.

Below programs illustrate the getYear() method:

Program 1 :




// Java program to demonstrate the getYear() method
  
import java.time.OffsetDateTime;
  
public class GFG {
    public static void main(String[] args)
    {
  
        // parses a date
        OffsetDateTime date = OffsetDateTime.parse("2018-12-03T12:30:30+01:00");
  
        // Prints the year of given date
        System.out.println("Year: " + date.getYear());
    }
}

Year: 2018

import java.time.OffsetDateTime;

}
