OffsetDateTime getDayOfYear() method in Java with examples

The getDayOfYear() method of OffsetDateTime class in Java gets the day-of-year field.

Syntax :

public int getDayOfYear()

Parameter : This method accepts does not accepts any parameter.

Return Value: It returns the day-of-the-year which ranges from 1 to 365, or 366 if the year a leap year.

Below programs illustrate the getDayOfMonth() method:

Program 1 :




// Java program to demonstrate the getDayOfYear() method
  
import java.time.OffsetDateTime;
  
public class GFG {
    public static void main(String[] args)
    {
  
        // parses a date
        OffsetDateTime date = OffsetDateTime.parse("2018-12-03T12:30:30+01:00");
  
        // Prints the day of given date in year
        System.out.println("Day in year: " + date.getDayOfYear());
    }
}


Output:

Day in year: 337

Program 2 :

import java.time.OffsetDateTime;

}
