o9 Solutions Interview Experience for ASE | On-Campus (Virtual) 2020
The o9 Solutions visited our campus for the job profile of an Associate Software Engineer. There was CGPA cut off 7.5.
Round 1 (Online Round 65 min on mettl): 30 Aptitude Questions + Technical Questions (40 min): It consists of quants and logical, average level questions, questions were asked from blood relations, seating arrangements, finding patterns, geometry, probability, time and work, etc. Technical Questions were C output, OS-scheduling algorithms, Networking-Routers, protocols and basic programming related from C, C++, level of questions were moderate to tough.
10 SQL questions(25 min): It was an objective type section and the level of questions was moderate.
Only 6 were shortlisted.
Round 2 (Technical Interview 45 mins to 1 hr):
- Introduce yourself.
- A brief discussion of your projects.
- OOPs, concepts, operating systems, and sorting algorithms(merge sort).
- Two coding questions: check a string is palindrome and print distinct elements in the array.
Were selected for the next round.
Round 2 (Technical Interview 1 hr to 1.5 hr):
- Introduce yourself.
- A brief discussion of your projects.
- What is your goal and why you want to join o9.
- He gave me a problem where I have to use all oops property and explain.
- He asked scheduling algorithms and page replacement algo.
- Two coding questions:
- Stock Buy Sell to Maximize Profit
- Writing power functions for large numbers. later he told me to use recursion and DP.
Tip: The interviewer is extremely cordial, so just be friendly, keep smiling and answer confidently without stammering.
Result: 2 students were selected including me.
