Node.js GM monochrome() Function

The monochrome() function is an inbuilt function in the GraphicsMagick library which is used to transform the image to black and white. The function returns the true value of success. 

Syntax:

monochrome()

Parameters: This function does not accept any parameters. 

Return Value: This function returns the GraphicsMagick object. 

Example 1:

// Include gm library
const gm = require('gm');
 
// Import the image
gm('1.png')
 
// Invoke borderColor() function
// and set border color to green
.borderColor('Green')
 
// Invoke resize function
.border(10, 30)
 
// Invoke monochrome function
.monochrome()

});
