The tint modifier is an inbuilt color modifier in Nodejs | Jimp which mixes white color into the image. 

Syntax:

image.color([
  { apply: 'tint', params: value }
]);

Parameter:

  • value – This parameter stores the amount of tint to be applied.

Input Images:

   

Example 1: In this example, we will see the use of a color tint.

// npm install --save jimp
// import jimp library to the environment
const Jimp = require('jimp');
 
// User-Defined Function to read the images
async function main() {
    const image = await Jimp.read
    // color function having tint modifier
    image.color([{ apply: 'tint', params: [60] }])
        .write('tint1.png');
}

console.log("Image Processing Completed");
