NEC Corporation Interview Experience | On-Campus 2021

NEC Corporation is a Japanese multinational information technology and electronics corporation, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo. 

It came to visit our Campus in September 2021 for Virtual campus drive.

There were total 5 round were held for selection.

1. Aptitude Round
2. Coding Round 
3. 1st Technical Round
4. 2nd Technical Round
5. HR Round

Round 1(Aptitude Round):- This was the first round held for this drive. Questions asked in this round were easy, medium, and hard as well. After this round, selected students were called for Coding Round.

Round 2(Coding Round):- As this company is an Information technology company that’s why coding was an important round for selection. If you are good with coding basics and having knowledge of some standard algorithms then you can easily crack this round.

Round 3(1st Technical Round):- After getting selected in Coding round, students were called for 1st technical virtual round and it was held on Microsoft team platform. Time for this round was approx 30 Minutes and most question were asked regarding whatever we have mentioned in resume. So for this round, I would like to suggest don’t lie in your resume.

Round 4(2nd Technical Round):- This was purely technical round, Even in my case interviewer didn’t ask for my introduction. He directly started questions from My core subjects like OOPs, OS and DBMS. After it some coding question and their complexity was asked by him. Time for this round was almost 45 Minutes. For this round, I would like to suggest, be clear with your logic and be confident in whatever approach you will use to solve a problem.

Round 5(HR Round):-This was the last round for selection. HR was very polite. He started with introduction, then asked something about company, then area of interest, about my hobbies and some general question regarding future plans etc.

After Completing this round, results were announced after 2 days of HR Round. total 11 students were got selected in this drive and I was of them.

Verdict: Selected
