Round 1: The first round of the MindTree placement process was the online aptitude test which had around 80 questions from Quants, Logical reasoning, Verbal ability, and Coding. This round of the Placement will be easy if you go well prepared. There are a lot of websites for placement preparation like Faceprep m4math  as they gave free mock tests and practice questions. They also had the latest pattern and syllabus and topics to focus on. Only 2 questions came from the coding section which had to be solved by writing the code and compiling it. Others were easy.  The written test is an AMCAT assessment.

Round 2: Round 2 was for those who got shortlisted. Luckily I was able to clear the test and was called for Technical Interview the next day. I entered the room where the interviewers were sitting. After a general introduction, they started asking questions about my resume and IT topics. The difficulty level of the questions was high as it were from the topics such as

  • C Language and coding
  • Operating Systems
  • Micro-controller

Fortunately, I was able to respond to these questions. It is highly important that you stay confident during such stressful interviews and always think before you speak.

Round 3: The final Interview round was the HR round which went pretty smooth. The interviewer was very friendly and considerate. She asked me about my career plans and where I see myself in 5 years. She asked me why I want to join Mindtree when there are so many options. For this round, I made notes about MindTree company by visiting their company website.  Other questions from the HR round were:

  • Are you comfortable with night shifts?
  • Are you comfortable with any location? ( She asked the reason when I said yes)
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Overall the process went well for me and was shortlisted! I got the call letter and am waiting for my joining soon!
