Jon Tinter, the Corporate Vice President, Business Development at Microsoft, stated, “The deal marked an extension of our mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.”. He added, “We see Builder.ai creating an entirely new category that empowers everyone to be a developer, and our new, deeper collaboration fuelled by Azure AI will bring the combined power of both companies to businesses around the world.” 

In order to enable users to create business apps on the platform, Microsoft aims to integrate Builder.ai’s AI assistant Natasha into its Teams video and chat software. Builder.ai also plans to utilize Microsoft’s AI strategies to enhance Natasha and give its voice a more human touch. 

According to Builder.ai, the partnership would allow it and its clients access to Microsoft’s Azure collection of cloud tools, including a set of AI capabilities it provides through a partnership with American firm OpenAI. The professionals at Builder.ai and the developers at the Microsoft Azure platform can also network together.
