LTI visited our campus to hire freshers for the 2022 batch.

Eligibility:

  • All branches with excellent technical knowledge and hands-on experience in coding
  • With a score >=60% in X, XII, and engineering semesters
  • There should not be any active backlogs

We had our pre-placement talks on 31st August 2021, Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 13:30 pm.

The complete process was based on Gamification Model i.e. Online Coding Challenge. The round consists of three levels. Each with an elimination round. The test was on 11th September 2021, Saturday at 9:00 am.

Level 1: It was divided into two parts: Level 1.A Technical MCQ and Level 1.B Coding Round. If we cleared the MCQ then only we were eligible for the next level.

The MCQs were from the topics:

  • OOPs and basic Programming logic
  • SQL / PLSQL
  • Pseudo Codes
  • Basic of Operation System
  • Web Technologies and SDLC

Level 1.B, Level 2 and Level 3: Coding questions were of medium to high levels. In the coding round we need to pass all 12 different test cases. Then only we can clear the coding rounds.

Out of 300, 31 students were shortlisted for the interviews and I was one of them. I cleared all the levels.

Technical Interview: The technical interview was held on 21st September 2021, Tuesday at 10:00 am. He first asked me to introduce myself. Then he directly asked me the technical questions. He asked some basic python questions

  • In my introduction, I said I love to listen to music so he asked me who is your favourite singer and why?
  • Explain break, continue, pass
  • What is negative indexing?
  • Explain overloading and overriding?

On the same day we got our result, 25 students got selected for the HR interviews. The HR interview was held on the next day, 22nd September 2021, Wednesday at 4:00 pm.

HR Interview: The HR round was quite easy and the interviewer was cool. IF you have cleared the technical interview the HR interview would be quite easy. He asked me some basic questions like:

  • Introduce About Yourself
  • Since I am from the ECE department, he asked me why do you want to join an IT company?
  • Since I was eligible for the higher package so he asked me if it was money-minded or any other reason. (That was a little tricky question. But he was impressed with my answer)
  • Effect of lockdown on IT industry?
  • Why is aptitude necessary?
  • Are you flexible for relocation?
  • Do you have any backlogs?

The results were out after two days and 23 students were selected out of 25 and I was one of them. Study the basic concepts and research about the company. This thing will help you in the interview.

Best of Luck.
