L&T Infotech Interview Experience | On-Campus(Virtual) 2020

The interview process had 3 stages overall. The stages were aptitude, technical interview and HR interview. The company had offered Level 1 and Level 2 roles for our college.

Aptitude test: The aptitude test duration was of 2 hrs 25 mins. It consisted questions from common topics like quantitative aptitude MCQs, logical MCQs, psychometric writing(essay writing), technical MCQs, verbal MCQs. Each of these sections had their own sectional cut off which has to be cleared individually. Apart from these sections, there was a coding test that had one coding question to be completed within 45 mins. The question asked me was – Find the number of palindromic words in a given sentence and output it. 

After the aptitude test 198 students were shortlisted(27 for Level 2 and 171 for Level 1) for the interview. 

Technical interview: In the technical interview I was asked the following:

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Are you comfortable with relocation and bond of 2 years?
3. What all subjects have you studied during your engineering
4. Queries for inserting, retrieving values from a database
5. What is a superclass?
6. Explain OOPS concepts
7. Difference between MySQL and SQL

After the technical interview, around 100 students were shortlisted(Level 1 + Level 2)

HR Interview: In the HR interview I was asked the following:

1. Tell me about yourself
2. What additional features would you want in the WhatsApp application and why
3. Why is there a drop in your scores from 10th to 12th(I had scored 25% less in 12th as compared to 10th)?
4. Tell me your family background
5. Are you comfortable with bond and relocation?

At the end of all interviews, a total of 37 students were selected. 25 students were selected for Level 1 and 12 students were selected for Level 2. I was selected for Level 2.
