L&T Financial Services (LTFS) Interview Experience (On-Campus 2021)

LTFS visited my college for Campus Placements in the month of January for the role of Technology Trainee. The eligible branches for the process were COMPS and IT. The basic criteria for registrations were minimum of 60% in 10^th and 12^th standard and no active backlog in engineering. The virtual hiring process consisted of the following rounds: 

Online Test 1: The online test took place on Larsen & Toubro platform. There were two sections and each section was timed:  

1. Aptitude Questions: This section consisted of 75 Questions that were to be solved in 1 hr. There were 3 subsections in this section. They were Verbal, Analytical, and Numerical. There were 25 questions each for all 3 sections. The questions were basic questions that were easy to understand and solve.
2. Basic Engineering Questions: This section consisted of 30 Questions that were to be solved in 20mins. Questions were related to Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering.

The results of this Online Test were declared after 4 days and 29 students were shortlisted out of 60 students. 

Online Test 2: The online test took place on the Empowered by Enthralltech platform. There was only one section:

1. Functional Test: This section consisted of 30 questions which were timed and to be solved in 30mins. Question switching was allowed in the platform. The questions were related to Databases, IT Infrastructure, and Security. They were basic questions and didn’t need any special preparation for this round.

The results of this Test were declared the next day. 8 students were selected after this round.

Interview Round (Technical + HR): The interviews were conducted on Google Meet. It was a technical and HR round. 

The round started with basic questions on the Resume. They asked about my recent projects and explain any one of them. Then they asked follow-up questions about the project. What was my contribution to that project? What was the tech stack of the project? They asked basic questions on the tech stack of the project. They asked basic questions like what do you know about LTFS and many more. Then they asked for my opinion on which profile I would like to work on. They asked about any data analytics tool I have experience with. At last, they asked whether I had any questions. They asked where I am staying.

It was a very friendly conversation.

The final list of selected students was declared after 4 days. They selected 2 students!!
