Locale getDisplayVariant() Method in Java with Examples

The getDisplayVariant() method of Locale class in Java is used to get the name for the locale’s variant code mentioned in the specified locale and is appropriately displayed to the user. If the variant code is not mentioned in the locale the function returns an empty string.

Syntax:

LOCALE.getDisplayVariant()

Parameters: This method does not take any parameters.

Return Value: This method returns the name of the display variant code appropriate to the locale.
