List of Lok Sabha Speakers: The Lok Sabha Speaker is a presiding officer of the Lok Sabha in the Parliament of India. Office of Speaker of Lok Sabha
The office of Speaker of the Lok Sabha is provided for in Article 93 of the Indian Constitution. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha is the Speaker of the Lok Sabha (House of the People) or the Lower House of the Indian Parliament. The President of the Lok Sabha is elected from among all other members of the House of Commons by a simple majority.
Any Member of Parliament can be elected Speaker, but in most cases, the candidate from the ruling party or the party with a majority wins the position.

Current Lok Sabha Speaker 2023
Shri Om Birla is the current Speaker of Lok Sabha in 2023. He became the 17the Lok Sabha speaker in Indian Parliament. On 4th edition of National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) 2023 funcation, he addresses the valedictory. He appointed on 19the June 2019 after the 16th lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan left the office.
