 Following we are presenting the third list of Ancient Indian Architecture. In this last list, we are covering all remaining Architecture of Ancient Indian History. This is an important topic for the SSC CGL examination.
 

Architecture Place  Ruler  Attributes 
Dashavatar Temple   Ellora (Maharashtra) Rashtrakuta This temple is two-storeyed. The figures of mythological Hindu deities have emerged between the pillars on its walls, it is related to Vaishnavism and Shaivism.
Kailash Temple Ellora Krishna Pratham (Rashtrakuta ) This temple has been constructed by cutting the rock, it is a temple built in the vesara style.
Elephanta Cave Maharashtra Rashtrakuta The Elephanta Caves are dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
Virupaksha Temple Pattadakal Chalukya This temple was built by the queen of Chalukya Vikramaditya II.
Aihole Temple  Aihole Chalukya

This temple was built by  Chalukya Vikramaditya.

This temple is built by Mahendra Varman Shia. They were built between 600 – 640 AD. Temples of this style are called Mandapas.

Monolithic Chariot Temple Mahabalipuram Narasimhavarman Pratham  (Pallava) The monolithic chariot temples were built by cutting huge boulders. These temples are also known as Sapta Pagodas. It is built in Mamalla style. The number of these temples is 8. In which the temple of Draupadi is the smallest and the temple of Dharmaraja Yudhishthira is the largest.
Shore Temple,Kailash Nath Temple, Bekunthpermal Temple, Mukund Mandir Mahabalipuram Narasimha Varman Second  (Pallava) This temple is built in Rajasingh style. Rajasingh was the title of Pallava king Narasimhavarman II. The main part of the Kailasa temple is the sanctum sanctorum with a pyramid-shaped spire on top. All the features of Pallava Vastukalala are reflected in this temple.
Mukteshwar Temple Kanchi Nandivarman This temple is small in size.
Mangteshwar Temple Kanchi Nandivarman This temple is dedicated to Lord Siva.
Parshuram Temple Gudimallam Nandivarman Gudimallam Temple is considered to be the oldest Shiva temple in India.
Veerateeswarar Temple Gudimallam Nandivarman This temple is dedicated to Lord Siva.
Koranganatha Temple Trichanapally Parantaka I   This temple is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha.
Brihadisvara Temple  Tanjore Rajaraja I This temple is 180 feet long and its peak is 196 feet high. The entire temple is built within a single boundary wall. The main part of the temple is the sanctum, shikhar and vimana. Percy Brown has considered this temple to be the best work of Dravidian art.
Kampaheswarar Temple Tribhuvan Kulothunga Third This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Cholagangam Temple Trichanapally Rajendra I This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Meenakshi Temple  Madurai Pandya ruler This temple is built in Dravidian style.
Chidambaram Temple Tirumalai Pandya ruler This temple is also known as Thillai Nataraja temple.
Temple dedicated to Nataraja, a form of Shiva as the Lord of dance.
Gomateshwara Statue  Shravan nbelagola Chamundarai The Gommateshwara statue is a high monolithic statue on Vindhyagiri Hill in the Indian state of Karnataka.
Hoysaleswara Temple Halebid Hoysala rulers It is also known as the Halebidu Temple. 
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Martand Sun Temple Kashmir Lalitaditya Muktapida It is a Hindu temple located in the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
