Lighthouse Animation using Flash

There are several products available in the market for making animation projects but none can claim to be as good as Flash, from the year 1996 when it was launched till now it is the first choice of professionals along with novice users. The main reason for its popularity is its support features. It is also available at a low price for students and along with this, it comes with a trial period. The tools of adobe flash are vast and each tool has multiple features.

Light House Animation

Animating a lighthouse is simple and it is used frequently in scenes containing oceans so we should know how to make the lighthouse animation so we will use the simplest method to make this animation effect of light of the lighthouse. Follow the below steps to animate the lighthouse.

Step 1: Open a new project in Adobe Flash.

Step 2: Import the lighthouse image to the stage.

Step 3: Add a new layer using Add new layer button.

Step 4: Draw a circle using the Oval tool.

Step 5: Set the gradient to a Radial gradient.

Step 6: Add a new layer.

Step 7: Draw a rectangle and change its shape using the Free transform tool.

Step 8: Press F8 to convert it into a symbol, choose graphic in the type option.

Step 9: Now double click to enter the symbol and again press F8 to convert to a symbol.

Step 10: Now at frame 200 add a keyframe by pressing F6.

Step 11: Add a keyframe at frame 100 and change the position of the light.

Step 12: Apply motion tween by selecting a middle frame.

Step 13: Now we press double click to come out of the symbol and add a frame at frame 200 by pressing F5.

Step 14: Now right-click on the third layer and choose Mask.

Step 15: Change the stage color to black.
