jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxToolBar is used to illustrate a jQuery widget that shows a toolbar where various tools can be spontaneously appended. Moreover, by default the jqxToolBar favor some widgets namely jqxButton, jqxToggleButton, jqxDropDownList, jqxComboBox as well as jqxInput. However, the custom tools can also be appended.

The initTools property is a callback function whereupon setups can be built to the tools stated in the tools property. It is of type function and its by default value is null.

Syntax:

  • Set the initTools property.

    $('#Selector').jqxToolBar({
        initTools: function (type, index, tool, menuToolIninitialization) {}
    });
  •

  • Return the initTools property.

    var displayFormat = $('#Selector').jqxToolBar('initTools');

Parameters: It has the following parameters as mentioned above and described below.

  • type: It is the stated type of the tool, as defined in the tools property.
  • index: It is the stated index.
  • tool: It is a given jQuery object that represents the tool.
  • menuToolIninitialization: It specifies if the initTools property is invoked for the toolbar tool i.e. the value is false or is invoked for the pop-up menu tool i.e. the value is true. It is of the type Boolean.
