jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxSwitchButton is used to illustrate a jQuery button widget that changes its verified state after being clicked. Moreover, it is quite identical to the jqxToggleButton, yet possesses a distinct user interface view.
The val() method is used to set or get the value. It has one optional parameter namely value, which is of type Boolean. It returns a Boolean value.
Syntax:
To get the value.
var value = $("Selector").jqxSwitchButton('val');
To get the value using jQuery’s val().
var value = $("Selector").val();
To set value.
$("Selector").jqxSwitchButton('val', true);
To set value using jQuery’s val().
$("Selector").val(true);
