jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxSwitchButton is used to illustrate a jQuery button widget which changes its verified state after being clicked. Moreover, its quite identical to the jqxToggleButton, yet possesses distinct user interface view.

The change event is activated whenever the displayed switch button’s state switches from one state to another.

Syntax:

$('Selector').on('change', function (event) {});

Linked Files: Download jQWidgets from the link. In the HTML file, locate the script files in the downloaded folder.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”jqwidgets/styles/jqx.base.css” type=”text/css” />
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”scripts/jquery-1.11.1.min.js”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”jqwidgets/jqxcore.js”></script>
