jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxSplitter is used for representing a widget that consists of a moveable split bar(s) that divides the display area of the container into two or more resizable and collapsible panels.

The panels property is used for setting or getting the panels property for the specified jqxSplitter. Here each panel is representing an object with the below specified fields.

  • size: It is used for setting size of the panel.
  • min: It is used for setting the minimum size of the panel.
  • collapsible: It is used for setting whether the panel is collapsible or not.
  • collapsed: It is used for setting whether the panel is collapsed or not.

Syntax:

  • For setting the panels property:

    $('#jqxSplitter').jqxSplitter({
        panels: [{ size: 200 },{ min: 50 }]
    });
  •

  • For getting the panels property:

    var disabled = $('#jqxSplitter').jqxSplitter('panels');
