jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful and optimized framework, platform-independent, and widely supported. The jqxRibbon is a jQuery widget that can be used as a tabbed toolbar or mega menu.

The mode property is used to set or return the ribbon’s display mode. It accepts String type value and its default value is ‘default’.

Its possible values are:

  • default: It describes the height of the ribbon’s content.
  • popup: It describes the height but the ribbon’s content is not included.

Syntax:

Set the mode property:

$('selector').jqxRibbon({ mode: String });

Return the mode property:

var mode = $('selector').jqxRibbon('mode');
