jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxListBox is used to illustrate a jQuery ListBox widget which comprises a list of electable elements.

The updateAt() method is used to update an item of the stated list box where the initial parameter is the new item and the second parameter is the item’s index which is to be updated. It does not return anything.

The following fields are used for the stated items of the list.

  • label
  • value
  • disabled
  • checked
  • hasThreeStates
  • html
  • group

Syntax:

$("#jqxListBox").jqxListBox('updateAt',
    { label: "Text", value: "Id1" }, Index);

Parameter:

  • Item: The stated item of type object or string.
  • Index: The stated index of type number.
