jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxListBox is used to illustrate a jQuery ListBox widget which comprises a list of electable elements.

The incrementalSearchDelay property is used to set or return the incrementalSearchDelay property. This property describes the time period in milliseconds immediately after which the former search string is removed. Here, the timer begins once we quit typing. It is of type Number and its default value is 700.

Syntax:

To set the incrementalSearchDelay property:

$("#jqxListBox").jqxListBox({incrementalSearchDelay: 400});

To get the incrementalSearchDelay property:

var incSearchDel = $('#jqxListBox').jqxListBox('incrementalSearchDelay');

Linked Files: Download jQWidgets from the link. In the HTML file, locate the script files in the downloaded folder.
