jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxListBox is used to illustrate a jQuery ListBox widget which comprises a list of electable elements.

The incrementalSearch property is used to set or return the incrementalSearch property. Moreover, an incremental search initiates searching immediately after entering the search string’s first character. Instantly, after typing the search string, jqxListBox spontaneously picks the identified item. It is of type Boolean and its default value is true.

Syntax:

To set the incrementalSearch property:

$("#jqxListBox").jqxListBox({incrementalSearch: false});

To get the incrementalSearch property:

var incrementalSearch = $('#jqxListBox').
                        jqxListBox('incrementalSearch');
