jQWidgets jqxListBox displayMember Property

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxListBox is used to illustrate a jQuery ListBox widget which comprises a list of electable elements.

The displayMember property is used to set or return the displayMember of the Items from the stated listbox. Moreover, this property defines an object property’s name to display. Where name is confined in the collection stated by the ‘source’ property. It is of type String and its default value is “”.

Syntax:

To set the displayMember property:

$("#jqxListBox").jqxListBox({displayMember: 'firstName'});

 

To get the displayMember property:

var displayMember = $('#jqxListBox').jqxListBox('displayMember');
