jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxGrid is used to illustrate a jQuery widget that shows data in tabular form. Moreover, it renders full support for connecting with data, as well as paging, grouping, sorting, filtering and editing.

The sorttogglestates property is used to set or get the sort toggle states of the displayed jqxGrid. It is of type string and its by default value is 2.

The possible values are as follows:

  • 0: It is used to disable the toggling.
  • 1: It is used to enable the toggling.
  • 2: It is used to enable the remove sorting alternative.

Syntax:

Set the sorttogglestates property.

$('#Selector').jqxGrid({ sorttogglestates: 1});

Return the sorttogglestates property.

var sorttogglestates =
    $('#Selector').jqxGrid('sorttogglestates');
