jQWidgets jqxEditor val() Method

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxEditor is used to represent a jQuery HTML text editor that can be used to simplify web content creation and can also be used as a replacement for HTML Text Areas.

The val() method is used to set the value of the value of the jqxEditor widget. It takes string as input and It returns the string containing current value inside the editor.

Syntax:

Set the value of editor

$('Selector').jqxEditor('val', string);  

Return the value of editor

var value = $("Selector").val();

Parameters: This method takes one parameter as discussed below:

  • Value: It is a string value that is used to set the value of the editor.
