jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful and optimized framework, platform-independent, and widely supported. The jqxEditor is used to represent a jQuery HTML text editor that can be used to simplify web content creation and can also be used as a replacement for HTML Text Areas.

The disabled property is used to set or return the disabled property i.e. the editor can be set as disabled or enabled. It accepts Boolean type value and its default value is false.

Syntax:

Set the disabled property.

$('Selector').jqxEditor({ disabled: Boolean});

Return the disabled property.

var disabled = $('Selector').jqxEditor('disabled');
