jQWidgets jqxDropDownList getCheckedItems() Method

  • Last Updated : 08 Sep, 2021

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDropDownList widget is a jQuery drop-down list that contains a list of selectable items displayed in the drop-down list.

The getCheckedItems() method is used to get the checked items of the widget. It does not accept any parameter and returns an array.

The returned item has the following fields:

  • label – It specifies the label of item.
  • value – It specifies the value of item.
  • disabled – It specifies whether the item is enabled/disabled.
  • checked – It specifies whether the item is checked/unchecked.
  • hasThreeStates – It specifies that the checkbox item supports three states.
  • html – It specifies the display item in HTML. It can be used instead of label.
  • index – It specifies the item index number.
  • group – It specifies the item’s group.

Syntax:

$("Selector").jqxDropDownList('getCheckedItems');
