jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDropDownButton is used to illustrate a jQuery widget that contains a number of selectable as well as expandable items displayed in the dropdown button.

The enableBrowserBoundsDetection property is used to open the popup above the displayed dropdown button, in case there is not sufficient space available below the dropdown button. It is of type Boolean and its default value is false.

Syntax:

To set the enableBrowserBoundsDetection property.

$('Selector').jqxDropDownButton(
        { enableBrowserBoundsDetection: false});

To get the enableBrowserBoundsDetection property.

var enableBrowserBoundsDetection = $('Selector')
      .jqxDropDownButton('enableBrowserBoundsDetection');
