jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDataTable is used for reading and displaying the data from the HTML Table. This is also used to display data from various data sources like XML, JSON, Array, CSV, or TSV.

The setCellValue() method is used to set a value of a specified cell.

Syntax:

$("#dataTable").jqxDataTable('setCellValue',
        rowIndex, dataField, New_Value);

Parameters: This method accepts three parameters which are illustrated below:

  • rowIndex: This is the specified row index for which the new value is going to be set. This is a number value starting from 0.
  • dataField: This is the specified data field for which the new value is going to be set. This is a string value.
  • New_Value: This is the specified new value.

Linked Files: Download jQWidgets from the given link. In the HTML file, locate the script files in the downloaded folder.
