jQWidgets jqxDataTable getColumnProperty() Method

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDataTable is used for reading and displaying the data from the HTML Table. This is also used to display data from various data sources like XML, JSON, Array, CSV, or TSV.

The getColumnProperty() method is used to return a property value of a specified column.

Syntax:

$("#dataTable").jqxDataTable('getColumnProperty', dataField, propertyName);

Parameters: This method accepts two parameters that are illustrated below.

  • dataField: This is the specified column name for which property value is going to be returned.
  • propertyName: This is the property name for the specified column.

Return values: This method returns a property value for a specified column.
