jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDataTable is used for reading and displaying the data from the HTML Table. This is also used to display data from various data sources like XML, JSON, Array, CSV, or TSV.

The addRow() method is used to add a new row into the existing data table. For synchronization with a server, please look also at the jqxDataAdapter plug-in’s help documentation.

Syntax:

$("#dataTable").jqxDataTable('addRow',
    rowIndex, rowData, rowPosition);

Parameters: This function accepts three parameters that are illustrated below:

  • rowIndex: This is the specified index of the row. This is of number type.
  • rowData: This is the specified row data. This is of an object type.
  • rowPosition: This is the given row position. It is of string type and its values are “last” and “first”. By default “last” is used.
