jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxCheckBox widget is used to display a check box that allows users to select or deselect the checkbox.

The jqxCheckBox checked event is triggered when the checkbox is checked. We will create a checkbox and when we check the checkbox, the checked event is triggered.

Syntax:

$('#jqxCheckBox').on('checked', function (event) {
    // Code
});

Linked Files: Download jQWidgets zipped files from the official website link and unzip them in a folder. Then create an HTML file, and locate the script files in the downloaded folder.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”jqwidgets/styles/jqx.base.css” type=”text/css” />
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”scripts/jquery-1.11.1.min.js”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”jqwidgets/jqxcore.js”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”jqwidgets/jqxcheckbox.js”></script>

Example: The below example illustrates the checked event in jQWidgets.
