In this article, we will learn how to use the jQuery UI Draggable cancel Option. This option is used to Prevents dragging from starting on specified elements. The default value of this option is “input,textarea,button,select,option”.

Syntax:

The cancel option takes a Selector type value and the syntax is as follows.

$( ".selector" ).draggable({ cancel: ".title" });
  • Get the zIndex option

    $( ".selector" ).draggable( "option", "cancel", ".title" );
  • Set the zIndex option

    $( ".selector" ).draggable( "option", "cancel", ".title" );
