jQuery UI consists of GUI widgets, visual effects, and themes implemented using jQuery, CSS, and HTML. jQuery UI is great for building UI interfaces for the webpages. The jQuery UI Datepicker constrainInput option is used to constrain the input field to characters allowed by the current dateFormat option, if it’s set to true

Syntax:

$( ".selector" ).datepicker({
  constrainInput: false
});

CDN Link: First, add jQuery UI scripts needed for your project.

            $("#gfg").datepicker({
                constrainInput: false
            });
        });
