jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops.

In this article, we will use the jQuery Mobile Toolbar disablePageZoom option to disable the page zoom for the specified toolbar widget. The disablePageZoom option is facilitated by the fixedToolbar extension. It is of the boolean type & its default value is true.

Syntax:

Initializing the toolbar with the specified disablePageZoom option:

$( "Selector" ).toolbar({
    disablePageZoom: true
});

  • Setting the disablePageZoom option:

    $( "Selector" ).toolbar( "option", "disablePageZoom", true );
  • Getting the disablePageZoom option:

    var disabled = $( "Selector" ).toolbar( "option", "disablePageZoom" );
