jQuery Mobile Pagecontainer changefailed Event

 Mobile is a web-based technology that can be used to make responsive content for websites that can be accessed on all types of smartphones, tablets, and desktops.  

In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Pagecontainer changefailed event. This event is triggered when the change() request fails to load the page.

Syntax:

Initializing the pagecontainer with the changefailed event.

$( ".selector" ).pagecontainer({
    changefailed: function( event, ui ) {}
});
  • Binding an event listener to the pagecontainer changefailed event.

    $( ".selector" ).on( 
        "pagecontainerchangefailed", 
        function( event, ui ) {} 
    );

Parameters: The below parameters can be used as mentioned above and described below:

  • event: This event is triggered after the transition animation has been completed.
  • ui: This parameter is of type object with below-given options.
    • toPage: This parameter is the jQuery collection object that contains the destination page DOM element.
    • options: This parameter is the configuration option to be used for the current change() call.
    • prevPage: This parameter is the jQuery collection object that contains the from page DOM element in a detached state.
