jQuery Mobile Pagecontainer beforetransition Event

In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Pagecontainer beforetransition event. This event is triggered before the transition between the two pages starts.

Syntax: Initializing the pagecontainer with the beforetransition event.

Binding an event listener to the pagecontainerbeforetransition event.

Parameters: This event accepts two parameters that are illustrated below:

event: This is the specified event.
ui: This parameter accepts some values that are given below:
- absUrl: This is of string type. This is the absolute version of the URL. If URL was relative, it is resolved against the URL used to load the currently active page.
- options: These is the configuration options that are to be used for the current change() call.
- originalHref: This is the href from the link that started the page change process.
- toPage: This is a jQuery collection object that contains the destination page DOM element.
- prevPage: This is a jQuery collection object that contains the form page DOM element.
