jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops. In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Page setContainerBackground() method to set a new background swatch for the specified page widget’s container.

Note: This method is deprecated as of jQuery Mobile 1.4.0 and will be removed in 1.5.0.

Syntax:

$( ".selector" ).page( "setContainerBackground", theme );

Parameters: This method accepts a parameter that is illustrated below:

  • theme: This is the specified theme to set the background swatch.

Return Values: This method does not return any values.
