jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops. In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Page domCache option to set whether to keep the page in the DOM after the user has navigated away from it.

Syntax: Initializing the Page with the specified domCache option.

$( "Selector" ).page({ domCache: true});
  • Setting the domCache option:

    $( "Selector" ).page( "option", "domCache", true);
  • Getting the domCache option:

    var disabled = $( "Selector" ).page( "option", "domCache" );

CDN Link: First, add jQuery Mobile scripts needed for your project.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”//code.jquery.com/mobile/1.5.0-alpha.1/jquery.mobile-1.5.0-alpha.1.min.css”>
<script src=”//code.jquery.com/jquery-3.2.1.min.js”></script>
<script src=”//code.jquery.com/mobile/1.5.0-alpha.1/jquery.mobile-1.5.0-alpha.1.min.js”></script>
