  • Last Updated : 24 Jun, 2021

jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops. In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Dialog Widget closeBtnText Option to customize the text of the close button that is helpful for translating this into different languages. The text is not visible on screen but it read by the screen reader. The close button is displayed as an icon-only button by default. It accepts string type value and its default value is “Close”.

Syntax:

$( ".selector" ).dialog({
    closeBtnText: string
});
