Company: Jio Platform Limited

Job Profile: Graduate Engineer Trainee

Round 1(Online Test): It consists of 2 Sections of overall time duration: 1 hrs 45 mins

1. Aptitude and English:  

  • Difficulty Level – Moderate

2. Programming Questions:

  • Difficulty Level – Moderate
  • Total no of questions – 2

Round 2(Technical Interview): There were two technical rounds but based on performance in round 1, 80 students got selected for the final technical round. I was one of them. To clear this round one must have good command over core subjects and skills that he/she mentioned during the interview.

Some questions were:

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. In how many ways can we put images on any webpage?
  3. In how many ways can we use CSS in a webpage?
  4. Which tag is used to change lines in HTML?
  5. What is the responsiveness of the website?
  6. How can we achieve responsiveness?
  7. What is Node.js, Express.js?
  8. What is DBMS?
  9. What is CORS?
  10. What are joins? Types of joins?
  11. What do you mean by object-oriented?
  12. What are method overloading and method overriding? Difference between them?
  13. What are SDLC, steps? (Suggestion: Read SDLC, Agile, Waterfall method in detail)
  14. What are Software testing, debugging, types of software testing?

I was also asked about my project for which I was asked to share my screen to demonstrate it. Some cross-questions were there. (Suggestion: Be confident and represent each and every part of it.)

Round 3(HR Interview):  This interview was conducted by the Vice President of Reliance JIO and was the final round and I was asked the following questions:

  1. Introduce yourself
  2. Tell us about your family.
  3. Why do you want to join JIO?

The final piece of advice:

  1. Be Confident throughout.
  2. If you have any doubt or you can’t understand the question feel free to ask again from the interviewer.
  3. Make Core Subjects strong.
