Infosys Interview Experience

Hi Everyone, Today I am going to share my interview experience of Infosys Ltd for the System Engineer(SE) role.

Infosys is considered as a DAY-1 company in our college as it is the first mass recruiter that visits our campus.

Round 1: First-round was a written test which consists of Quantitative aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.

To clear the first round you need to mainly focus on Long reading comprehension (passages), Data sufficiency, Data interpretation, and Blood relation.

We got the result of Round -1 by evening. Now, After 5 days Round-2(interview round) was there.

Round 2: This round was an interview round (Technical+HR). After waiting for a long time, I went to the interviewer.

I wish him, he asked me to sit and asked for an introduction. After we were done with that part (meanwhile he was looking at my Resume). As I had mentioned that I am good at algorithms and programming he asked me about my preferred programming language, I told him that it is python and why. 

Now, the first technical question was about Binary search, I explained the concept of Binary search to him then he asked me to write the implementation of Binary search in python.

I wrote a code and showed it to him, by mistake I forgot to mention one condition. he asked me to recheck the code and he was smiling, I went through the code once again found the mistake, corrected it give it back to him, he was satisfied with my code and he asked me about reallocation I said ok then we were done there.

After 5-6 days I got confirmation from college that I am selected.
