Infosys InfyTQ Interview Experience for DSE 2023

I participated in the InfyTQ certification exam conducted by Infosys for the 2023 batch. The Certification round consisted of 10 MCQs of Python (I had selected Python, Java is available too), 10 MCQs of DBMS, and 2 hands-on coding problems of Easy-Medium level. I was able to solve all MCQs along with 1 coding problem with 100% test cases and another with 82% test cases passed. I had cleared this round and received an invitation for Advantage Round.

The Advantage Round consisted of 3 coding questions out of which I was able to solve 1 problem with 100% test cases passed and another problem with 49% test cases passed. I received a Pre-Placement Interview opportunity (PPI)  for the role of Digital Specialist Engineer. My interview was scheduled for 29th June 2022.

Interviewer: Describe yourself in five words.

Me: Answered.

Interviewer: He asked me about my favorite project from my Resume

Me: My project was a team-based project I told him whatever I had done in my project.

Interviewer: Then he asked me, since your project is a team project if you face any conflict with your teammate then how will you solve that conflict?

Me: Answered

Interviewer: Asked which language I am comfortable with.

Me: I told C++.

Interviewer: Then he asked me to open any code editor and run two programming questions

         You are given a number, you have to display the sum of all the even numbers.
         Multiply two numbers without using the multiplication operator.

Me: I was able to write and run both programs.

Interviewer: He asked me about some situation-based problems

Assume you are the owner of Netflix. You see that the users aren’t continuing their membership, what changes you will do so that users always continue their plan?
If you are using Twitter, how will you identify if the account is of a human or a Bot?
How much do you agree with the Digital Transformation of India

Me: Answered everything with proper examples.

Interviewer: Any questions for me?

Me: I asked him about the work culture of Infosys which he went on to answer for almost 10 minutes.

After the interviews, it usually takes around a month again for them to roll out the results.

I was selected for the role of DSE.
