IndiaMart Interview Experience for Intern + FTE (On-Campus)

Job Title: Engineer 

Recruiting Month: December 2021

Recruiting Duration: 10 days (From AMCAT test to HR Round)

No. of Rounds: 3 (AMCAT test + Technical Interview + HR)

Round 1(AMCAT TEST):

• Math, English grammar, Reasoning, Basic Programming based MCQ questions
• 2 simple coding questions

Round 2(Technical Round): 

• Interview started with each other introduction.
• He asked me some followup question based on my introduction.
• After that interviewer asked me about my favourite project till now and why is that.
• I told him about my internship project and discussed various design issues and How I implemented them.
• After that he asked me one simple coding questions(Remove duplicates letters from string).
• I explained my approach and implemented it in c++.
• After that he asked me what else I have achieved during my college life.
• I told him about my participation in hackathons and open source contribution.
• He saw my GitHub profile and discussed some of my projects which was not mentioned in resume.
• I previously contributed in organisation like postman, ethereum.org, meshrey.io.
• So he was pretty impressed with my coding experience and overall coding style (How I code.).
• At last he told me about himself, what is his role and what technology mostly Indiamart uses.

Note: Mostly I feel nervous in interview but interviewer was so kind and humble that I was able to talk with confidence.

Round 3(HR Round):

• Formal Introduction about myself.
• Weakness and strengths?
• Some more basic HR questions.
• Then she told me that I am selected.
• Are you able to relocate Noida?
