General Study is the major and important section for SSC CGL, Banking, Railway, and other exams. In every exam, 2 or 3 questions are asked about this topic. Following, we are presenting a list of some important Architecture in Ancient Indian History.  It may help the candidates.

Khajuraho Temple  Khajuraho  Chandela Dynasty  Khajuraho was a major centre of Chandel art. There was a group of about 30 temples here which are related to Shiva, Vishnu and Jains. Most of the temples are built in Nagara style.
Kandariya Mahadev Temple  Khajuraho       Dhang
( Chandela Dynasty) 
This is a Shiva temple built in Nagara style.
Jagadambika Temple  Khajuraho  Chandela Dynasty  It is a group of about 25 temples of Khajuraho.
It is located in Madhya Pradesh.
Chaturbhuj Temple  Khajuraho  Chandela Dynasty  This temple is built on a high platform of bricks. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Parshwanath Temple  Khajuraho Yashovarman   (Chandela Dynasty)  This is a Jain temple of Parsvanath, Here along with Jain Tirthankaras, idols of Hindu deities have also been made.
Jinnath Temple Khajuraho Chandela Dynasty  It is also a part of Khajuraho temples.
It is located in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh.
Baidyanath Temple  Khajuraho Chandela Dynasty  This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Chausath Yogini Temple Khajuraho Chandela Dynasty  This temple is built by king Devapala. 
It is located in the Gwalior district in Madhya Pradesh.
Vishwanath Temple Khajuraho Chandela Dynasty  This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Lakshmana Temple  Khajuraho Chandela Dynasty  This temple is built by King Yashoverman.
This is the first temple built by Chandela rulers in their capital Khajuraho. the 
Kalinjar Fort Kalinjar Chandela Dynasty  It is located in the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh.
Rahil Sagar  Mahoba Chandela Dynasty This is a Sun temple. It is located in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh.
Mahoba Sagar  Mahoba Madanavarman Chandel This is a Sun temple. It is located in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh.
Ajaigarh Fort Panna Madanavarman Chandel It is a famous fort of the Chandela Dynasty.
Siddheshwar Temple Rajasthan Paramara ( Malwa ) This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Udayeshwara Temple Udaipur Paramara ( Malwa ) This temple was built by Paramara ruler Udayaditya. In this temple idols of gods like Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesh etc. have been made.
Mahakaleshwar Temple  Ujjain Paramara ( Malwa ) This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Dilwara Temple Mount Abu Vimal Chalukya  He was the minister of Chalukya king Bhima Deva I.These temples are made of marble.
Dhara Nagari  Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Pramar King Bhoj of the Paramara dynasty established the city of Dhara and made it the capital of Malwa.

Bhimdev Pratham  (Gujarat Chalukya ) This temple was built by Bhimdev I. He also got the Somnath temple rebuilt. This temple is located on the bank of Mahanadi river.
RudraMahakal Temple  Gujarat Jayasimha Siddharaja He was the greatest ruler of the Chalukya dynasty of Gujarat.
Lingaraj Temple Bhuvneshwar Yayati Keshari This temple is built in Nagara style. Its main part is its sanctum, which is called Devil. The most attractive part of this temple is the summit of 160 feet.
Jagannath Temple Puri Anantvarman Chodagan This temple is also built like the Lingaraj temple.
Sun Temple Konark Narasimhavarman Pratham This temple is also built in Nagara style. The base of this temple is a huge platform, around it there are 12 wheels carved out of stone. There are sculptures of 7 horses in front of the stairs, the total height of Devkul including the summit is 225 feet.
